Getting ready for winter – Easter safety

Summer has been amazing – the weather has provided the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and get cracking on home maintenance and DIY projects.

With summer coming to an end, you may be thinking it’s time to get those jobs finished before the winter weather sets in. Many of us use our Easter break to do just that – tackling chores like tree trimming, house painting, clearing guttering and water blasting.

Unfortunately too many people get injured doing these things and last Easter was no exception – over 9,100 people were seriously hurt in and around their homes.
